The summer has been over for a while. Therefore, I don't understand what's up with MARC, as most of the problems it has are caused by the heat. We were about 45 minutes late last Monday. This morning, the 7:15 train was about an hour late and in the evening, the 5:51 had mechanical problems. When the conductor said that he did not know when it would depart I decided to take the Penn Line train instead, and get a taxi to the Savage Station. I think I read somewhere that MARC would reimburse cab expenses when it's its fault... I need to dig out that info, 'cause I did get a receipt and I would like to get my money back.
Sure, it is only $20, but it's more than that. I don't care how much paperwork I'll have to deal with. Not only do I pay for my monthly ticket, but I also contribute by taxes. And I have to pay for cabs, because the train fails to take me where my car is parked? It's about accountability, in my opinion. I am thinking that if other passengers hit MARC where it hurts -the wallet- perhaps we would see things change.

I think you're right. It seems that only react when we touch the pocket. It is a RENFE. Here works more or less .I have a complaint in writing and giving me the right answer, but I returned the money.
